Council is in the ideas gathering phase about potentially revisiting the existing Master Plan in place for the Lakes Precinct.
The Refresh is designed to test and refine the current plans and capture anything new that may now be needed at the Precinct to ensure greater sustainability, enjoyment and opportunities to connect with the lakes.
A lot has changed across the Lockyer Valley recently, with an increase in residency and a variety of activities on offer at the Lakes Precinct. With the current Master Plan having been prepared 10 years ago, Council feels it is timely to check in with community to ensure the future vision for Lake Apex and Lake Freeman is delivering on community needs as we grow.
Community consultation will occur from 11th October to 7th November, 2021 to allow the community time to have a say, and ensure as much feedback around the Master Plan Refresh can be gathered to inform the best possible outcomes for the Precinct.
Your feedback will be treated as confidential unless you tell us otherwise. All feedback is subject to Council’s Privacy Policy. All feedback gathered across the range of consultation methods on offer will be compiled and analysed and provided to council for consideration as part of the overall Master Plan Refresh process.
